I offer two distinct types of sessions: Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) and Reflective / Integration-Based Support.
While both approaches are grounded in presence and attentiveness to the body, they differ in scope, structure, and intention.
These offerings are intentionally kept separate to ensure clarity of scope and to support working in a way that is safe and appropriate.
Registered Massage Therapy
Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) focuses on hands-on, body-based treatment.
Sessions may support:
muscle tension and discomfort
movement restrictions
physical patterns related to stress or repetitive use
Sessions are guided by clinical knowledge, assessment, and ongoing feedback, while remaining responsive to how your body is presenting in the moment.
Treatment may include a combination of therapeutic massage, Active Release Technique (ART®) for targeted soft tissue restriction, slower exploratory work, and attention to how your system is responding throughout the session.
Active Release Technique is a specific, movement-based approach used to assess and treat muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves, particularly where there may be adhesions or restricted motion.
These sessions are provided within the scope of registered massage therapy.
Session lengths range from 15 to 90 minutes.
RMT sessions are provided in person at Dalgity Resilience.
Reflective / Integration Support
These sessions offer a non-clinical space to explore experiences, increase awareness, and support integration.
This may be helpful for:
reflecting on meaningful or intense experiences
developing greater awareness of patterns and responses
reconnecting with internal cues and sense of self
This work is conversational and body-aware, with attention to how your system is responding in the moment. It is grounded in reflection, observation, and supporting your own understanding.
Reflective / integration sessions are arranged separately, with meeting options discussed via email. This may include quiet, informal settings that support a grounded and attentive environment.
Important to Know
Reflective / integration sessions:
are not psychotherapy or mental health treatment
do not involve diagnosis or clinical intervention
are not a replacement for licensed mental health care
If you are currently experiencing acute distress or require clinical support, I encourage working with a qualified mental health professional.
Choosing a Session
If your primary focus is physical tension, discomfort, or movement-related concerns, massage therapy is likely the most appropriate starting point.
If you’re looking for a space to reflect, increase awareness, or make sense of experiences in a non-clinical setting, reflective / integration sessions may be a better fit.
If you’re unsure, you’re welcome to reach out to explore which option feels most appropriate.
Who This Is For
This work may be a good fit if you are:
interested in developing greater awareness of how your body responds to stress and environment
open to slowing down and exploring your experience without needing immediate solutions
looking for a grounded, non-directive space to reflect and integrate
able to engage with curiosity and a degree of internal stability
Who This Is Not For
This work may not be the right fit if you are:
seeking diagnosis, treatment, or clinical mental health care
in acute distress or requiring crisis support
looking for directive guidance or rapid problem-solving
experiencing symptoms that would be better supported by a licensed mental health professional
I encourage working with appropriate healthcare providers as part of a broader support system.
Background & Areas of Interest
I have a professional background in veterinary medicine and an ongoing interest in supporting those working within veterinary and animal care fields.
These environments often involve high levels of responsibility, sustained stress, and complex emotional demands. My work offers a grounded, non-clinical space to reconnect with the body and develop greater awareness over time.
